As we begin a new year, I can't help but be overwhelmed with gratitude. This past year (and life for that matter) has demonstrated for me, just how lucky I am! For starters, my parents are still thriving, both in their mid-eighties. I am married to a generous, kind man, who still enjoys teasing the heck out of me after almost 15 years together. We live in one of the greatest states and cities in the world and we are both are in excellent health.
In addition, I am fortunate enough to work as an actor AND an Educational Therapist. Two professions, I thoroughly enjoy! When I'm not acting, I get to work with children and adults who struggle with the learning process. They inspire me every day! And when I am not in Educational Therapy sessions, I get the opportunity to play in improv shows, audition a bunch and create with some of the best in the business. I could go on and on listing all that I am grateful for, but suffice it to say, I am one lucky gal.
I wish you and your family a prosperous year. And I challenge you to count your blessings, even on those days when you really don't want to.
